Fast Loop Filters
Fast loop filter housings minimise the time delay associated with sample systems for on-line analysers. A relatively high flow is used to get the sample close to the analyser, before the low flow sample is split using the filter housing and the rest of the flow returned to the process via the fast loop.
Cyclone Filters
Cyclone filter housings are one of the most innovative, low maintenance solutions for liquid filtration available. Constructed entirely from 316L stainless steel, they offer excellent corrosion resistance for the most demanding applications.
Disposable In-Line Filters
Disposable in-line filters are a self-contained filter solution. A disposable filter element is encapsulated into a plastic body with integral inlet and outlet spigots. DIFs offer a low cost filter solution that is fast and easy to replace.
Filter Regulators
Regulators and filter regulators that are ideal for instrument air applications. There are two types on bonnet available – plastic and stainless steel. The internal components and diaphragms are common to both types so the performance, pressure rating and outlet regulated pressure are the same. Housings are available with and without a drain port making them suitable for both coalescing and particulate applications.
Coalescing Filters
Processes and systems that require the separation of liquid aerosols and droplets from gas need a coalescing filter.
Elements
Microfibre Filter Elements
Disposable bonded microfibre filter elements are manufactured from precise mixtures of borosilicate glass microfibres to the very highest standards of quality control. These elements offer exceptional filtration efficiency at very low pressure drops and being +90% void volume give a very long service life.
Stainless Steel Elements
Stainless steel filter elements are comprised of five layers of 316 mesh, sintered together to form an integrated porous element. The middle mesh is of very fine gauge and determines the filtration rate, with five inner and outer layers of coarser mesh overlaid to give support and protection.
PE & PTFE Filter Elements
PE and PTFE filter elements are available to ensure a full complement of filter media for our disposable filter elements and stainless steel filter types.
Housing
316L Stainless Steel Filter Housings
316L stainless steel housings for particulate and coalescing duties in a huge ranges of sizes and pressure ratings. Port sizes from 1/8″ up to 2″ and from vacuum to over 1300 bar working pressures.
PTFE Membrane Housings
PTFE membranes and housings are perfectly suited for separating liquid from gas molecules, allowing a pure gas sample to be produced for the protection of analysers and other instruments.
Aluminium Filter Housings
Aluminium filter housings are purpose built for compressed air applications. With a wide selection of port sizes and pressure ratings available, we will provide a high efficiency filtration solution to suit your application requirements.
Plastic Filter Housings
Available in PTFE, PP, PVDF and Nylon and several different sizes and configurations. We can offer custom housing for OEM applications using our NT, NL and NNS series housings as a basis. Low cost and effective filtration.
Brass Filter Housings
Our brass filter housings have bodies machined from solid brass bar, with nylon internals and Viton seal. These brass filter housings are ideal for point-of-use instrument air filtration.
Flanged Filter Housings
Stainless steel housings with flanges machined into the head. Al components are machined from solid 316L bar and no welding is needed – CE marked as required by PED 2014/68/EU.
SP76 Modular Substrate Filter Housings
SP76 modular substrate sampling systems. Classic Filters offers 316L stainless steel filter housings for particulate and coalescing duties and PTFE-membrane housings that conform to SP76 standards. All our housings are designed to have a minimal internal volume to increase the response time.
Exotic Materials for Filter Housings
we can produce filter housings in Titanium, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, Duplex, Super Duplex – whatever exotic material you need.
Special or Custom Filter Housings
custom-made solution precisely tailored to your requirements.
Drains & Absorbers
Automatic Drains
Classic Filters offers two solutions to remove liquids automatically from a system with a positive pressure. Both housings have a male threaded inlet port that will connect directly to the female drain port of a coalescing filter housing.
Drain Vessels
A drain vessel is designed to increase the volume of a coalescing filter housing to hold more liquid and increase the service time. This is especially useful for negative-pressure applications where an automatic float drain cannot be used.
Disposable In-Line Adsorbers
Disposable In-Line Adsorbers (DIA) consist of polyamide or PVDF bodies filled with granular adsorption material and fitted with integral inlet and outlet filter pads.
